This meeting was dedicated to the Fun Run and wrapping up all our lose ends so the event would be successful. After reviewing the budget and spending reports for September we discussed:
Where we stood on business sponsorships. A few more had come aboard so all the sponsors noted thus far were going to be included on the Fun Run Tshirts. They were all added to the PTO website for additional advertising.
Parents were asked to send in food coloring and water jugs to help mark the running path. As well as snacks for the kids to enjoy afterward.
The collection envelopes weren't printed due to an error at the printing company so a backup plan was implemented instead. The 99 Pledges website was going to be active on Monday so parents and students would start accepting online donations through Nov 1st. Nov 1st was chosen as the cutoff so those that raised $150 pledges or more could be added to a list of wristband holders for the Fall Festival.
We reviewed the list of prizes for the Top 10 Collectors. These items were donated by various businesses.
Parent volunteers were to arrive around 7:30 am of the Fun Run to assist with setup where needed.
